My client, a well-established hospitality destination located in Connemara, Co. Galway, is now seeking a Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team on a 3-month fixed-term contract for the busy summer season.

Position Overview:


As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your designated kitchen section and ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience while maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency throughout service.

This is a 3-month fixed-term contract operating on a 5 days over 7 schedule, Monday to Sunday, offering €15.00 to €17.00 per hour depending on experience. This position is ideal for a passionate chef looking to gain valuable experience within a busy hospitality environment during the summer season.

Requirements:


• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis Chef within a busy hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
• HACCP knowledge and understanding of food safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a designated section.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods.

Responsibilities:


• Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Manage and maintain your designated kitchen section.
• Assist with food preparation, service, and daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering requirements.
• Minimise waste and maximise efficiency within the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times.
• Support junior kitchen staff where required.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all HACCP and Health & Safety procedures.
