My client, a busy and well-established restaurant operation, are now seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their growing team based in Dublin 2.

Position Overview:


As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations while ensuring exceptional customer service, efficiency and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the restaurant.

This is a full-time permanent role working 5 days over 7 on a 40-hour week. Salary on offer is €35,000 per year.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the operation and work closely with senior management on the continued growth and development of the restaurant.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:


• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Restaurant Supervisor, Duty Manager or Assistant Manager position
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
• Experience handling stock control and cash management
• Flexible approach to both front of house and kitchen support duties
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English essential
Full right to work in Ireland required

Responsibilities:


• Ensure high standards of service quality, cleanliness and organisation are maintained at all times
• Take full responsibility for the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
• Support, coach and lead the restaurant team on a daily basis
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
• Manage stock ordering and stock control procedures
• Assist with staff scheduling and rota management
• Support recruitment activities alongside HR when required
• Supervise team performance and maintain a positive working environment
• Assist with menu planning and kitchen preparation when required
• Oversee daily restaurant operations and cash handling procedures
• Step into operational duties across both front and back of house when required
