My client, a well-established Managed IT Services provider, is currently an experienced Cloud Consultant to join their Professional Services team remotely.

Position Overview:

As the Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting modern cloud and infrastructure solutions for a diverse client portfolio. Working closely with customers, you will lead technical workshops, deliver cloud migration projects and provide expert consultancy across Microsoft technologies, ensuring solutions are aligned with each client's business objectives.

This is a remote position offering a salary of €60,000 — €70,000 depending on experience. While the role is primarily home-based, there will be occasional travel to client sites and the office for project delivery, workshops and customer meetings when required.

This role is ideal for a technically strong consultant who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with customer engagement and solution design.

The salary for this position is €50,000 — €60,000 per year, depending on experience, together with ongoing training, professional development and excellent opportunities to progress into senior infrastructure and cloud engineering roles.

This is a permanent role working directly for my client. I am assisting them in finding suitable candidates to join their team on a permanent basis.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in an MSP, consultancy or enterprise IT environment
• Strong experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure solutions
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop and hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Experience delivering cloud migration and infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of Windows Server, networking and security
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam desirable)
• Excellent client-facing communication and consultancy skills
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to client meetings when required
• Full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud solutions
• Lead client discovery sessions and technical workshops
• Deliver cloud migration, infrastructure and transformation projects
• Provide expert technical consultancy to clients
• Design Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune solutions
• Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs and statements of work
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to colleagues
• Work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft cloud technologies and industry best practices
