My client, a leading provider of catering, facilities management, is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie for a high-volume, daytime corporate kitchen based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Position Overview:

As the Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of a busy corporate kitchen, delivering fresh, high-quality food in a structured and professional environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef seeking a strong work-life balance, with a Monday to Friday schedule and daytime hours (7:00AM – 3:30PM). The position is offered on a 3-year fixed-term contract, with strong potential for extension.

This is a 3 year FTC role, which will involve working for my client directly, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role
• Experience working in high-volume or contract catering environments is desirable
• Relevant culinary qualification preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and health & safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• A positive, reliable, and professional attitude

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with company standards
• Support the Head Chef in the smooth running of kitchen operations
• Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
• Ensure all food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience
