My client, a leading landscaping and garden design company, is seeking an experienced Hard Landscaper to join their team based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

Position Overview:

As a Hard Landscaper, you will play a key role in the construction of premium outdoor spaces, working closely with designers and site teams to deliver high-quality garden builds from concept to completion.

You’ll be responsible for the skilled installation of paving, brick and block walls, timber structures (such as pergolas, decking, and fencing), edging, artificial grass, and lighting systems. Every project demands precision, creativity, and an eye for detail to ensure an exceptional finish and client satisfaction.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (core hours), offering a salary of up to €50,000 per year, depending on experience. Projects are based primarily in County Wicklow and surrounding regions.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hard landscaping or construction, with a proven ability to deliver high-end finishes.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction techniques, materials, and site preparation.
• Full, clean driving licence (B or higher).
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Professional, punctual, and client-focused with strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manage workload effectively.
• Experience using SketchUp or other design software (advantageous).
• Confidence to lead small teams or mentor junior staff when required.
• Familiarity with garden lighting, irrigation systems, and CSCS machinery tickets (e.g., mini digger, dumper) is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Execute hard landscaping projects from start to finish with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Install porcelain, granite, and natural stone paving; brick and block walls; timber structures (pergolas, decking, fencing); edging, artificial grass, and basic lighting systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and layout plans accurately.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and professional worksite at all times.
• Collaborate closely with team members and communicate effectively with clients and designers when required.
