My client, an established and award-winning 4-star hotel and conference venue, is seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join their busy team based in North Co. Dublin.

Position Overview:


As a Breakfast Chef, you will play a key role in preparing and serving high-quality breakfast and lunch offerings in a busy hotel kitchen. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently, presented beautifully, and meet both guest and brand expectations.

This position offers a 4-day work week, with core hours Sunday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Monday to Wednesday 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, providing an excellent work-life balance. Hourly pay ranges from €17.00 to €19.00, depending on experience.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:


• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar hotel kitchen role.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to maintain composure during busy breakfast service.
• Team-oriented with a professional and positive attitude.
• Flexibility to assist with lunch preparation as required.

Responsibilities:


• Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes to consistently high standards.
• Take direction from senior chefs and assist in maintaining food quality and hygiene standards.
• Support colleagues in maintaining proper systems of food preparation, storage, and hygiene.
• Ensure HACCP regulations are followed at all times.
• Work efficiently to meet service times without compromising quality.
• Assist with lunch preparation as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all work areas.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support junior kitchen staff when required.
