My client, a well-established and reputable motor dealership, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Car Valetor to join their team in Navan, Co. Meath.

Position Overview:

As the Car Valetor, you will play an important role in maintaining the dealership’s high standards of vehicle presentation and cleanliness. You’ll be responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing vehicles for display, sale, and delivery — ensuring every car looks its best for customers.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a great eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of €28,000 per year, with regular hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Valetor, Car Cleaner, or Vehicle Detailer (required)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full, clean Irish driving licence (essential)
• Reliability, good time management, and a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist across departments when needed

Responsibilities:

• Clean, wash, and polish interior and exterior of all vehicles to a high standard
• Prepare new and used vehicles for customer handovers and showroom display
• Carry out detailing, vacuuming, window cleaning, and interior sanitisation
• Assist with vehicle movement, parking, and organisation of forecourt display
• Report any vehicle defects or damage promptly to management
• Support the sales and service teams as required
• Maintain cleanliness of the valeting bay, car wash area, and equipment
