My client, an established residential construction company, is currently seeking a highly skilled professional to step into a combined Finishing Foreman / Project Manager position based in South Co. Dublin.

Position Overview:

As the Finishing Foreman / Project Manager, you will take ownership of both the hands-on finishing stages and the project coordination required to deliver high-quality residential builds. You will oversee daily site activity, drive finishing standards, coordinate trades, manage snagging, and ensure the project progresses smoothly from finishing phase through to handover.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of €75,000 per year, working Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a company van and fuel card provided.

In this hybrid role, you will combine your carpentry expertise with strong organisational and project management skills, ensuring exceptional workmanship while keeping timelines, communication, and site operations on track. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an excellent eye for detail, and wants to step into a broader leadership and coordination position within residential construction.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Finishing Foreman, Carpenter Foreman, or in a similar hybrid role
• Strong carpentry/finishing background with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience overseeing subcontractors, teams, and daily site activity
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and drive project timelines
• Strong understanding of residential construction and finishing standards
• Ability to read drawings, manage snag lists, and ensure compliance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised with strong project coordination ability
• Full clean driving licence is essential

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all finishing works and ensure top-tier workmanship across the project
• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate all finishing trades
• Create, update, and manage snag lists through to completion
• Plan and manage short-term project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
• Maintain clear communication with management, engineers, and subcontractors
• Carry out inspections and quality checks throughout the finishing phase
• Ensure all works are compliant with health and safety standards
• Troubleshoot issues on site and implement effective solutions
• Assist with project reporting, documentation, and handover preparation
• Represent the company professionally on-site at all times
