Senior Engineer / Setting Out Engineer – Residential Projects – Co. Wicklow

My Client, one of Irelands leading construction contractors are currently recruiting for Senior Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out setting out duties across 2 residential developments in Co. Wicklow
• Support site management and project delivery teams with day-to-day engineering requirements
• Ensure all works are completed accurately and in line with drawings, specifications and programme
• Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, design teams and other project stakeholders -Monitor and maintain quality control standards across the projects
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and technical problem solving on site
• Check drawings, specifications and site conditions, highlighting any issues or discrepancies
• Ensure records, site documentation and engineering reports are maintained to a high standard
• Support the smooth delivery of infrastructure, housing and associated site works

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer, Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer on construction projects in Ireland
• Strong residential construction experience is highly desirable
• Excellent setting out ability and strong technical knowledge
• Ability to work across 2 live sites and communicate effectively with site teams and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications and quality procedures
• Must have previous experience working in Ireland
• Strong English communication skills are essential
• Relevant engineering qualification
• Full driving licence preferred

Benefits:
