My client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer for a site-based project in Milltown, near Kells, Co. Meath. This is a long term temporary agency position, expected to last for a minimum of 6 months, with indicative pay of €30–€35 per hour PAYE, depending on experience.

RCT self employed payment is also an option.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day site safety and documentation, working closely with the site team and the main contractor’s Health & Safety team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage RAMS, permits, training records and site Health & Safety files.
• Carry out site inspections, monitor working practices and follow up on safety issues.
• Deliver site inductions and provide practical safety guidance.
• Liaise with the main contractor’s Health & Safety team.

Requirements:

• Previous construction site Health & Safety experience in Ireland.
• A relevant qualification such as QQI Level 6, NEBOSH or equivalent.
• A valid Safe Pass.
• Confidence managing safety documentation and carrying out site inspections.
• Availability for temporary agency work and ability to attend the Milltown site.
• Previous solar or electrical project experience would be an advantage.
