I am currently assisting my client, a well-established residential developer and builder, in the recruitment of a Site Manager to join their team.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Position Overview:

My client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee high-end residential developments in Malahide.

The initial project is a live residential development made up of high-quality traditional build houses and apartments. The project is currently moving towards the final stages of construction and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Following completion of this project, the Site Manager will move onto a new high-volume residential development in Malahide, due to commence in January.

This is a long-term permanent role with a well-established developer/builder that has a strong pipeline of residential work in the area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations on high-end residential developments.
• Oversee works from current stage through to completion, snagging and handover.
• Manage subcontractors, trades, materials, site labour and daily site activity.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high-quality finish.
• Drive finishing works, snagging, quality control and handover standards.
• Coordinate with project management, design teams, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction details.
• Ensure site health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Manage site records, daily reporting, meetings and progress updates.
• Plan and coordinate upcoming works to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Represent the company professionally with residents, buyers, subcontractors and stakeholders where required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager, Finishing Manager, Senior Foreman, Construction Manager or similar.
• Strong residential construction experience is essential.
• Experience with traditional build houses, apartments or high-end residential developments is highly desirable.
• Strong finishing, snagging and handover experience.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and trades across multiple work fronts.
• Strong knowledge of site health and safety, quality control and programme delivery.
• Ability to read drawings and manage site issues confidently.
• Hands-on, practical management style.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence required.
• Safe Pass required.
• Trade background or construction qualification would be beneficial.
