My client, a well-established food manufacturing business, is now seeking an experienced Amenities Manager to oversee all site amenities, cleaning operations and workplace services across their manufacturing facility in County Wicklow.

Position Overview:


As the Amenities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards are maintained across all non-production facilities, including offices, canteens, welfare areas, washrooms, meeting rooms and communal spaces. This is a hands-on management role where you will lead the site amenities team, manage cleaning and facilities schedules, coordinate contractors and ensure employees have a safe, clean and well-maintained working environment.

Working closely with internal departments and external service providers, you will take ownership of site presentation, workplace standards and the day-to-day management of amenities services while driving continuous improvement across the facility.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in County Wicklow, working Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The role is fully site-based and offers a salary of up to €59,000 per year, together with the opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing business committed to continuous improvement.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short-term role. I am assisting my client in finding a suitable candidate to join their team directly.

Requirements:


• Minimum 5+ years' experience within Facilities Management, Workplace Services, Amenities Management or a similar environment
• Minimum 2+ years' management or supervisory experience
• Previous experience managing cleaning operations, workplace services or facilities within a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of health & safety, workplace compliance and cleaning standards
• Experience managing internal teams and external contractors
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong leadership and people management abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:


• Manage all workplace amenities and support services across the manufacturing site
• Lead, supervise and develop the site amenities team
• Ensure all office, welfare, washroom, canteen, meeting room and communal areas are maintained to the highest standard
• Coordinate daily cleaning schedules and workplace services to ensure an excellent employee experience
• Manage relationships with external contractors, including cleaning, waste management, pest control, landscaping and other facilities service providers
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with company standards
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and workplace regulations
• Carry out regular site inspections and implement corrective actions where required
• Manage workplace consumables, cleaning supplies and amenities budgets
• Coordinate planned maintenance and facilities-related works to minimise disruption to site operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across workplace services and site presentation
• Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation and contractor reports
