My client, a leading provider of catering and facilities management services, is seeking an experienced and adaptable Permanent Relief Chef to join their dynamic catering teams operating across the Greater Dublin Region.

Position Overview:

As the Permanent Relief Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food across a range of contract catering, events, and function sites within the Greater Dublin Region. You’ll provide kitchen support where needed, ensuring consistency, food safety, and excellent service standards are maintained at all times. The role requires flexibility and a proactive approach, ideal for a Senior Chef who enjoys variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to work across different venues.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of €40,000 per year, with core hours of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Senior Chef or Relief Chef (Irish experience essential)
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Strong English – written and verbal (essential)
• Full clean driving licence (essential)
• Must be comfortable travelling between sites within the Greater Dublin Region
• Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
• Passion for food, presentation, and customer service excellence

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality food across multiple client sites within the Greater Dublin Region
• Support day-to-day kitchen operations including prep, service, and menu execution
• Work across contract catering, events, and functions, ensuring consistency and standards are met
• Maintain HACCP, food safety, and hygiene compliance at all times
• Adapt quickly to new environments and support kitchen teams as required
• Communicate effectively with managers and site staff to ensure smooth operations
