My client, a leading civil and environmental services contractor, is seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer (CCTV & Jetting) to join their team based in the Greater Dublin area

Position Overview:

As a Drainage Engineer (CCTV & Jetting), you will play a key role in inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining drainage systems across sites in Dublin. This is a hands-on position involving the operation of CCTV and jet vac units to assess and maintain drainage infrastructure. A full HGV licence is essential, as you’ll be responsible for driving and operating specialised vehicles between sites.

The role offers €20 per hour (depending on experience) and a steady Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing stability and work-life balance.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Full, valid HGV licence (essential)
• Safe Pass (essential)
• Manual Handling and Confined Space certificates (advantageous)
• Experience in CCTV drain surveys, jetting, or pipeline inspection (essential)
• Strong understanding of drainage systems and site safety protocols
• Ability to complete accurate reports and follow instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to travel to different sites as required

Responsibilities:

• Operate CCTV and jetting equipment to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage systems
• Identify, document, and report blockages, defects, or structural issues
• Carry out maintenance and preparation works as required
• Drive and operate jet vac and CCTV vehicles between sites
• Complete detailed reports and work documentation
• Liaise with engineers, foremen, and site supervisors to coordinate work
• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance at all times
