My client, a leading provider of catering and hospitality services, is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Temporary Baristas to join their team at a secure, high-profile location in Co. Cork.

Position Overview:

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold beverages while delivering exceptional customer service in a busy café environment. You will ensure beverages are prepared to a consistently high standard, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and contribute to creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

This is a temporary position working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday, on a rotating roster of either 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Successful candidates will be required to complete Garda Vetting and a pre-employment security clearance process before commencing work.

This is a temporary role with Total Solutions, working on assignment with our client.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ year's experience working as a Barista in a busy café, coffee shop or hospitality environment.
• Experience preparing a range of espresso-based coffees and specialty beverages.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Cash handling and till experience is desirable.
• Flexible to work a 5/7 roster, including weekends.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Must be eligible to complete Garda Vetting and the required pre-employment screening.
• Full right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages to a high standard.
• Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
• Operate the coffee machine and maintain equipment in line with company procedures.
• Process customer transactions using the till.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas.
• Replenish stock and monitor ingredient levels throughout the day.
• Follow HACCP, food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
