My client, a leading provider of catering and facilities services, is currently seeking a reliable and decidated Chef de Partie (Relief) to help support their team based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.

Position Overview:

As the Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing a small kitchen operation across weekend service, catering for approximately 15 people across breakfast and lunch. This is a standalone role, working Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 3:00pm (approx.), offering a salary of €18 per hour. This is an ongoing requirement. You will be responsible for the full service delivery across both days, ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to a high standard while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.

Requirements:

• Min 2+ years’ experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role
• Comfortable working independently and managing a kitchen solo
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Experience across both breakfast and lunch service
• Comfortable with basic till and cash handling
• Reliable, organised, and able to work off your own initiative

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and serve breakfast and lunch for approximately 15 people
• Manage the kitchen independently during weekend shifts
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Handle basic till and cash transactions as required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Ensure a smooth and efficient service across both days
