My client, a leading provider of catering, retail, and facilities management services, is now seeking a Relief Chef to support multiple locations across Waterford.

Position Overview:

As a Relief Chef, you will provide cover across various sites, supporting kitchen teams in delivering fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. This is a flexible role suited to a reliable and adaptable chef who is comfortable working across different locations and teams.

This is a daytime hours role, operating Monday to Sunday depending on site requirements, with a pay rate of €18 – €20 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Min 2+ years’ experience working as a Chef in Ireland
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
• Experience in a high volume kitchen environment is essential
• Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt quickly to new environments
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with site specifications
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
• Support kitchen teams during busy service periods
• Ensure all HACCP procedures are followed and documented correctly
• Assist with stock control and minimise waste where possible
• Work collaboratively with on-site teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
