My client, a well-established facilities and support services provider, is currently seeking an experienced Chef to join their team in Dublin on a relief basis.

Position Overview:

As the Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. You will play an important role in maintaining excellent food standards, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and presented to a high standard.

This is a relief position based in Dublin, offering flexible working hours with core working days Monday to Friday. The role is paid at €20 per hour and is ideal for an experienced chef looking for flexible shifts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years chef experience in Ireland is essential
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• HACCP Level 2 certification required
• Valid Manual Handling & HACCP Level 2 Certificate required
• Full right to work in Ireland is essential
• Strong level of English (written and verbal) is required

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu requirements
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are followed
• Assisting with stock control and kitchen organisation
• Keeping kitchen and preparation areas clean and organised
