We are currently seeking a Financial Controller for our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Dublin, Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the finance leadership team at a busy manufacturing site, where you’ll take ownership of financial operations and drive performance across planning, forecasting, and cost control.

Position Overview:

As the Financial Controller, you will oversee local finance activities, including accounting, plant controlling, and financial planning. You’ll manage month-end close, budgets, cash forecasts, and reporting while ensuring compliance and driving collaboration between finance and operations.

Requirements:

• Experience in finance roles within manufacturing/supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proven team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with IFRS, local tax, and regulatory standards.
• ERP experience (implementation a plus).
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Bac+10 or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel within Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Lead local finance activities, including accounting, plant controlling, and financial planning.
• Manage month-end close, budgets, cash forecasts, and reporting.
• Oversee cost accounting, pricing strategy, and compliance.
• Drive collaboration between finance and operations teams.
• Support the implementation of a new ERP system.
• Prepare for audits and ensure reporting accuracy.
