Position Overview:

As a Patrol Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance services directly at customer locations throughout Ireland. The base salary for this position is €43,800, with on-target earnings ranging from €50,000-60,000, including shift allowances, overtime, and performance bonuses. This role provides a varied and engaging work experience with a 40-hour working week and the potential for substantial earnings through overtime.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

There will be huge opportunities for upskilling, personal progression and development within this role, my client is known for investing in and really looking after their staff, a large number of staff who work there are with the company long term which only happens if things are right internally.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site repairs and maintenance for a range of vehicles in Dublin or Cork.
• Provide high-quality roadside assistance and support to customers.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Maintain and manage your service vehicle and tools.
• Keep detailed records of services provided and parts used.
• Follow safety protocols and company standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and represent the company positively.
• Manage scheduled shifts and seasonal overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• Patrol Mechanic qualifications and BE driving licence.
• Proficiency in English.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina and flexibility for various shifts and overtime.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to relocate to Ireland and commit for at least 2 years.
• Ability to find accommodation after the initial 6-8 weeks, with relocation support provided.
