JOB DESCRIPTION
My client, a leading provider of motor industry services, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for their team based in Dublin.
Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the day-to-day operations within a fast-paced motor industry environment. Responsible for managing a team of technicians and operational staff, this role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the motor industry, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to maintain high-quality service delivery.
This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule that promotes the ideal work-life balance, as well as a competitive salary of up to €65,000 per year, depending on experience. This provides an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to optimise operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and foster a positive and productive workplace culture
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• A qualification as an LCV mechanic (FETAC Level 6) is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous foreman experience or experience leading a team of technicians is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a lead supervisor or manager in a fast-paced business.
• Demonstrated ability in performance management, complaint investigation, and team management.
• A strong background in the motor industry, with recovery environment experience being an advantage.
• A full clean driving licence.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and quality across all functions.
• Leading and managing a team of technicians to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback, and implementing performance management strategies.
• Investigating and resolving customer complaints promptly and effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Achieving KPIs and delivering on operational targets.
