My client, a well-established provider of catering and facilities services, is currently looking for an experienced Catering Assistant (Relief) to join their team based in Kinsale, Co. Cork

Position Overview:

As a Relief Catering Assistant, you will support the catering team with the preparation and service of food, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen and service area. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, flexible, and comfortable supporting a busy catering operation as required.

This role offers a rate of €14.15 per hour, with a flexible core working schedule of Monday to Sunday (7.30AM to 7.30PM), providing flexible relief cover within a professional catering environment.

Requirements:

• Min 1+ years Irish catering or hospitality experience (essential)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Availability to work across a Monday–Sunday core schedule
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliability and commitment to consistent attendance
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Strong English | Written & Verbal

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
• Serving meals in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas
• Washing dishes and sanitising equipment and work surfaces
• Supporting the catering team with day-to-day operations
• Adhering to all health & safety and food safety procedures
