My client, a well-established and highly respected organisation specialising in secure records management, is now seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join their team on a temporary basis in Dublin 11.

Position Overview:

As the General Operative, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position involving the safe handling, movement and organisation of records and materials while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and high standards of customer service.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic and take pride in maintaining excellent health and safety standards.

This is a temporary position offering an hourly rate of €16.80 per hour, depending on experience. The role operates on a core hours schedule, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, with hours worked based on business requirements. As this is a temporary position, full-time hours cannot be guaranteed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, general operative or similar manual role.
• Previous experience with picking, packing, stock handling or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling duties.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks.
• Manual Handling Certificate required

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort and organise records and materials within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack and prepare items for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Scan, label and accurately record inventory movements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy of orders.
• Follow all company procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
