My client, a leading specialist in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join their Dublin team

Position Overview:

As the HVAC Service Engineer, you will play a key role in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a wide range of commercial and residential sites. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on role suited to a technically skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of €45,000 to €60,000 per year, depending on experience. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with plenty of overtime available, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking strong earning potential in a growing and supportive team environment.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a HVAC or similar mechanical engineering role
• Full Trade Qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
• Valid F-Gas Certification (Category 1 preferred)
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
• Full clean Irish driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and service HVAC systems including VRV/VRF and split units
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and respond to emergency callouts when required
• Complete job reports and service documentation clearly and accurately
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Liaise with clients and site personnel in a professional manner
