GROUNDWORKER – Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin

Location : Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin

Position : Experienced Groundworker

Start : Immediate

We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker to join a busy construction project in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin.

The successful candidate will have solid experience in groundworks and pipe laying and will be responsible for installing and working with underground drainage and service pipes.

Duties:

• Laying and installing underground pipes
• Working with drainage and service pipes
• Preparing trenches and assisting with excavation works
• Checking levels and ensuring pipes are correctly positioned
• Backfilling and compacting trenches
• General groundworks and site preparation
• Working alongside other groundworkers and site operatives
• Following instructions from the Site Supervisor / Foreman
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Groundworker
• Good knowledge of pipe laying and drainage works
• Experience working with underground services
• Ability to understand levels and follow site instructions
• Safe Pass
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Good health and safety awareness
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work well as part of a team
