JOB DESCRIPTION
My client, a global leader in food services and facilities management, is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee a busy on-site catering operation in Dublin City Centre.
Position Overview:
As the Catering Manager, you will lead the front-line catering operations within a dynamic, high-profile location. This is a fast-paced, guest-focused role ideal for a hands-on manager with exceptional operational expertise, a passion for premium food experiences, and the confidence to engage directly with both clients and the public.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the catering department, ensuring smooth service delivery across multiple food outlets, maintaining full HACCP compliance, and driving consistently high standards. The successful candidate will lead and inspire their team, oversee staffing and rota management, manage stock and food quality, and play a key role in client liaison — including delivering regular service reviews and presentations.
This is a structured, full-time role offering a 39-hour work week across 5 days over 7, with daytime hours only. The salary ranges from €45,000 to €48,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in high-volume catering, event, or contract catering environments
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and compliance in a fast-paced, public-facing setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both clients and guests
• Comfortable delivering client presentations and service reviews in a professional, brand-aligned manner
• Proficient in using catering systems and digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication
• A strong understanding of modern food trends and the ability to adapt menus to meet evolving visitor expectations
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and committed to consistently delivering exceptional service standards
Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the on-site catering department
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
• Lead, support, and develop the catering team
• Deliver weekly and monthly presentations to clients and key stakeholders
• Monitor industry trends and introduce new ideas to enhance menus and service delivery
• Maintain all necessary records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with broader business objectives
