Join a worldwide leader in the roofing, waterproofing and insulation industry for residential and commercial markets. We are seeking an Area Sales Representative to drive sales within the Leinster and Connaught regions of Ireland. As an integral part of the sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with existing customers, building merchants and contractors, promoting innovative products, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with building merchants, contractors, and other stakeholders in the construction industry.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required by management.

Experience:

- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the construction or building industry, preferably with knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a diverse workload effectively.
- Confidence in your ability to negotiate and deliver results
- Knowledge of Roofing or building materials
- An understanding of the construction industry.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
