Job Details

I am currently assisting my client, a well-established Irish projects, facilities and sustainability services provider, in the recruitment of a Senior Electrician to join their team.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

The role is a hybrid position involving a mix of office-based work, client site visits and time on the tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for pricing small electrical projects, arranging materials, and either carrying out the works directly or arranging for the works to be completed by others.

Projects can range from one day on site to a number of weeks and will mainly be carried out in commercial buildings across the Greater Dublin area.

• Price small commercial electrical jobs and projects.
• Attend sites to assess works required.
• Arrange materials, labour and resources.
• Carry out electrical works directly when required.
• Coordinate works with other electricians or subcontractors.
• Manage small projects from assessment through to completion.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, professionally and within budget.
• Communicate with clients, internal teams and management.
• Update job information, progress notes and photos using company systems or apps.

The Ideal Candidate

You should have:
• Fully qualified electrician status.
• Minimum 5 years’ electrical experience.
• Experience pricing small electrical jobs or commercial projects.
• Strong commercial electrical experience.
• Experience running small projects at or under budget.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• A professional, proactive and can-do attitude.
• Good smartphone / computer literacy.
• Full driving licence.
• Based in or within easy reach of the Greater Dublin area.

Desirable but Not Essential
• Experience in facilities maintenance.
• Experience in renewables, EV charging or smart monitoring.
• Experience coordinating other electricians or subcontractors.

Training can be provided in areas such as renewables, EV charging and smart monitoring where required.

Package and Benefits
• €60,000 – €65,000 salary, depending on experience.
• Company vehicle.
• Company phone.
• Pension contributions.
• Annual / Christmas bonus.
• Monday to Friday working week.
• Early finish on Fridays.
• No regular evening or weekend requirement.
• Permanent role with a well-established Irish business.

Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior electrician who wants a varied role involving pricing, site visits, customer interaction and hands-on electrical work.

It would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of jobs from start to finish and wants to work with a company that values quality, professionalism, teamwork and customer service.

If you meet the above requirements and are seeking an exciting new challenge, please forward your CV for immediate consideration and a confidential call back to discuss the role in more detail.

Your CV will never be sent to anybody without your permission.

My client is an equal opportunities employer.
