My client, a leading provider of catering and hospitality services, is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable a Temporary Catering Assistant to join their team at a secure, high-profile location in Co. Cork.

Position Overview:

As a Catering Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent food service experience while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and customer service. Working as part of a busy catering team, you will assist with food preparation, serving customers, replenishing food displays and ensuring all service areas remain clean and well-presented.

This is a temporary position working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday, on a rotating roster of either 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM
• 8:00 PM.

Successful candidates will be required to complete Garda Vetting and an airport security clearance process before commencing work.

This is a temporary role with Total Solutions, working on assignment with our client.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience in a Catering Assistant, Food Service Assistant, Hospitality or Customer Service role is preferred.
• Experience working in a busy catering, café, restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a 5/7 roster, including weekends.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Must be eligible to complete Garda Vetting and airport security clearance.
• Full right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Replenish food counters and displays throughout service.
• Assist with basic food preparation duties.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Operate tills and process customer transactions where required.
• Work as part of a team to ensure efficient daily service.
