My client, who is a dynamic and trusted construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects, is currently hiring a Working Foreman for a live residential project in Dún Laoghaire, valued at approximately €1.25 million.

Position Overview:

As a Working Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades, managing timelines, and ensuring the smooth running of the project from start to finish. You will play a key role in making sure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

This position provides an outstanding opportunity for professional growth, with the potential to progress into a full-time site management role. Ideal candidates will have a solid trade background, particularly in carpentry or similar, and must be comfortable using laptop-based project management tools to track progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• A trade background (carpentry or similar preferred).
• Proven experience in managing live residential sites.
• Comfortable with laptops and project management tools for documentation and tracking.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage the site with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations and manage all aspects of the project.
• Coordinate and supervise tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
• Liaise with design teams, architects, engineers, and clients to meet project requirements.
• Utilize project management software to track progress and report on-site activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant worksite
