Responsibilities:

• Ensure all clients are fully compliant with tax regulations, managing tax filings and submissions to both Revenue and HMRC as required.
• Manage and nurture relationships with clients, delivering bespoke tax planning solutions tailored to their business and personal financial goals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, offering timely and strategic tax advice.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Provide technical training and support to ensure high standards of tax knowledge and service across the team.
• Oversee work allocation and ensure junior staff meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Advise on and manage cross-border tax issues between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, ensuring clients meet regulatory requirements in both jurisdictions would be desireable, but not essential.
• Stay current on changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring the firm and clients remain compliant while identifying any potential risks or opportunities.
• Business Development: Support business growth by contributing to client acquisition efforts, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and expanding the firm's tax advisory services.

Requirements:

• Qualified Tax Consultant (CTA, AITI, or equivalent).
• An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or similar) is advantageous but not essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax advisory and compliance, ideally within a medium or large professional accounting practice.
• Significant experience managing tax matters for private clients and indigenous Irish businesses.
• Cross-border tax experience (Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland) is highly desirable.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary and benefits package.
• Opportunity to work onsite across offices in Dundalk and Belfast.
• Strong potential for career progression and leadership development.
• Exposure to a wide variety of tax issues, including cross-border and corporate tax.
• A collaborative and supportive working environment.
• Access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
