JOB DESCRIPTION
Total Solutions is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join the team at a busy artisan restaurant in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. This is a permanent position and an incredible opportunity for the right candidate to advance their culinary career.
Responsibilities:
• Cook and prepare high-quality dishes.
• Take full responsibility for the kitchen's operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef in managing kitchen staff and delegating tasks.
• Implement and maintain a first-in, first-out food rotation system.
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of HACCP regulations.
• Play an active role in menu planning and creation.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with other staff members in a calm and professional manner.- Professional appearance and a positive temperament.
• HACCP Level 2 certification is desirable.
