Position Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and maintaining the financial health of fitout projects from start to finish. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts for fitout projects.
• Develop tender documents, evaluate contractor bids, and negotiate contracts to ensure best value.
• Conduct regular valuations of completed work and prepare accurate payment applications.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and cost targets.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring appropriate contingencies are in place.
• Provide detailed cost reports, financial statements, and updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on fitout projects.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, contracts (e.g., RIAI, JCT), and cost control systems.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, CostX, or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to anticipate issues and deliver innovative solutions.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Based in or willing to commute to North Dublin.
