JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Electrician for a client of ours, a leading Electrical Contactor based in South County Dublin. This is a hands-on role, where the senior electrician will work on the tools, while being responsible for the junior members of the team. Key responsibilities include identifying electrical problems, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs or adjustments. High attention to detail and pride in workmanship are essential.
Responsibilities:
 - Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Work with blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Liaise with ongoing site matters and manage apprentices.
Qualifications:
• Valid electrician license or certification (QC number desirable).
• Relevant experience as an Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial electrical systems, wiring, and components.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, EV chargers, and solar systems is desirable.
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full clean driving license.
• Current Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Fluent in both verbal and written English.
