Our client is a dynamic and growing firm specializing in general accountancy and business consultancy. They are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team in Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work with a diverse client base, manage key accounting functions, and contribute to business consultancy projects.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, you will provide expert accounting services, manage client relationships, and support business advisory projects. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills across both practice and industry while working in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for a variety of clients.
• Manage accounts, tax returns, and bookkeeping services.
• Provide business consultancy support and financial guidance to clients.
• Assist with audits and year-end financial reporting.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, tax regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting (predominantly in practice, but industry experience will also be considered).
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or working towards qualification).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax, and audit practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
