My client, a leading automotive services provider renowned for its exceptional roadside assistance and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, is seeking a Qualified Mechanic to join their team based in South Co. Dublin

Position Overview:

As the Qualified Mechanic, you will be based in a well-equipped workshop environment, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their technical skills, works to a high standard, and enjoys being part of a professional, team-oriented setting.

You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired efficiently, contributing to the safety and reliability of the fleet. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality are essential, as is the ability to follow established procedures and timelines.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of €51,000 per year. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility available to support a healthy work-life balance.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Conduct pre-NCT checks and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
• Accurately complete job cards and service records
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and cleanliness
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

• QQI Level 6 in Motor Mechanics or equivalent
• Proven experience working as a qualified mechanic in a workshop environment
• Full, clean Irish driver’s licence
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• A team player with a professional and positive attitude
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail
