They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual Machinist to join our client's team at their Carlow site.  

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience and will be adept at operating and maintaining manual machinery to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to produce precise components.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Work with various materials, including metals and composites, to create custom parts.
• Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Manual Machinist.
• Strong proficiency in operating manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
