JOB DESCRIPTION
My client, a well-established and growing construction company who specialise in residential new builds, retrofitting, social housing developments, and high-end residential projects, is seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join their team.
Position Overview:
As a Plumbing Supervisor you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing on-site operations, ensuring plumbing and general construction tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified plumber with hands-on experience in residential and new build projects.
This position offers a competitive salary up to €80,000 per year which can be negotiated for experienced candidates. As well as a 4-day working week (Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-5:00 pm) for the optimum work/life balance.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Must be a fully qualified plumber.
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor/Working Foreman, particularly within residential and new build projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, standards, and health and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate site teams.
• Full, clean driver’s license.
• Flexibility to travel to sites within the Greater Dublin Area.
Responsibilities:
• Supervising and managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
• Coordinating and overseeing the work of on-site trades and subcontractors.
• Implementing and maintaining rigorous health and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
• Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve challenges and align project goals.
• Maintaining clear and comprehensive site documentation, including progress reports and schedules.
• Utilizing plumbing expertise to ensure all relevant installations meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Assisting with hands-on tasks when required to maintain project momentum.
