JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client – an award-winning accountancy practice based in Dublin city centre is looking for a newly qualified accountant to join their team. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct audits and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Provide tax planning and compliance services, including the preparation of tax returns and advising on tax-efficient strategies.
- Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
- Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Participate in business development activities, including client meetings and networking events.

Requirements:

- Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Irish accounting standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:
- Experience in an accounting firm or a similar role.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards.
- Familiarity with tax software and other financial management tools.
