My client, a well-established and reputable automotive service provider, is looking for a Motor Mechanic (Qualified) to join their team based in Dublin 22

Position Overview:

As a Motor Mechanic (Qualified), you will ensure vehicles meet the highest safety and performance standards through diagnostics, servicing, and repairs across various makes and models.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail, with experience in fault diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs using advanced equipment. The role requires working independently and as part of a team.

This full-time, Monday to Friday position offers working hours of 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Mon-Thurs) and 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Fri), with a competitive salary starting at €52,000 per year in a modern, well-equipped workshop known for quality and efficiency.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Motor Mechanic
• Experience working with a range of vehicle makes and models
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• A full, clean Category B driving licence is required
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer and safety standards
• Conduct diagnostic checks and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment
• Work efficiently to meet workshop deadlines and customer expectations
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Provide professional customer service when required
