Our client, a reputable car dealership and service specialist, renowned for their commitment to quality and excellence in automotive services are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join their team in Rush, County Dublin.

Position Overview:

As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our client's customers. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of €20 and follows a Monday to Friday roster from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

There will be huge opportunities for upskilling, personal progression and development within this role, my client is known for investing in and really looking after their staff, a large number of staff who work there are with the company long term which only happens if things are right internally.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately to meet quality standards.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a car dealership or automotive service center.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics.
