JOB DESCRIPTION

My client, a dynamic and professional team in a prestigious corporate environment, is seeking an General Operative to join their Dublin City Centre location.

Position Overview:


As the General Operative you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of a busy corporate environment. This position involves the setup, breakdown, and maintenance of meeting and event spaces, as well as providing support to the Facilities Management team with various operational tasks.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of responding to changing priorities in a dynamic workplace. This role is essential to delivering a high standard of service and ensuring the seamless execution of events and day-to-day facility needs.

This position provides a structured Monday to Friday schedule, with core hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and one day per week working from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. It offers a competitive salary of €32,500 per annum and an immediate start.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:


• A valid Manual Handling Certification.
• Previous experience in setting up corporate events and meeting spaces.
• A proactive approach and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:


• Setting up and breaking down rooms for corporate events and meetings, ensuring all spaces meet high standards.
• Handling ad-hoc requests to support the Facilities Management (FM) team with various operational duties.
• Maintaining all meeting and event rooms to ensure they are always ready for use.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
