JOB DESCRIPTION
My client, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Installer & Tester to join their team based in Dublin
Position Overview:
As the Renewable Energy Electrical Installer/Tester, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components in heat pump and renewable energy systems for residential projects. The role ensures all work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical installation, fault-finding, and compliance testing, with experience in renewable energy systems being an advantage. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can work both independently and as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient system operation.
This is a Monday to Friday position with a competitive salary of €50,000 to €60,000, depending on experience.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Fully qualified electrician with a recognized electrical qualification
• Experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems and their electrical requirements (preferred)
• Up-to-date Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications (training can be provided)
• Full, clean driver’s license
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance with regulations
Responsibilities:
• Installing and testing electrical components for heat pumps and renewable energy systems
• Conducting electrical inspections, fault-finding, and troubleshooting
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
• Carrying out electrical testing, certification, and documentation
• Collaborating with plumbers, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete installations
• Providing technical support and assistance to customers
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting on all work completed
• Staying updated on the latest technologies and industry developments
