My client, a leading provider of facilities management and technical services, is actively seeking an Electrical General Operative to join their Dublin-based team on a temporary basis.

Position Overview:

As the Electrical General Operative, you will support electrical teams with installation, maintenance, and general electrical duties across a variety of client sites. This is an ongoing relief role where you’ll move between locations depending on client requirements, gaining exposure to different environments and electrical works.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM (core hours), supporting qualified electricians and facilities teams while ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is ideally suited to a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice looking to build experience in a structured, professional setting.

Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice (essential)
• Valid Manual Handling & Safe Pass (essential)
• Previous site or facilities-based experience desirable
• Good understanding of electrical safety and procedures
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to travel between sites as required
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Responsibilities:

• Assisting electricians with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works
• Carrying out general electrical labouring duties on site
• Supporting planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
• Moving between client sites as required
• Maintaining tools, materials, and a clean working environment
