My client, a leading provider of catering and facilities services, delivering high-quality food and support services within a healthcare setting, is currently looking for a temporary ongoing Catering Assistant to join their team based in South Co. Dublin.

Position Overview:

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the catering team in the preparation and service of meals within a busy healthcare environment, ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer care at all times. You will work closely with the wider team to help deliver a professional and efficient service to patients, staff, and visitors.

This role involves working afternoon shifts and offers a competitive rate of €15.25 per hour. It is ideally suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced healthcare setting.

Requirements:

• Min 1+ years Irish experience catering or food service experience (essential)
• Ability to work afternoon shifts
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Manual Handling & HACCP certificates required

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Serving meals to patients, staff, and visitors
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting the catering team with day-to-day operations
• Following all health & safety and infection control procedures
