My client, is a well-established cleaning company who specializes in on-site carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning for both commercial and domestic properties, is currently seeking a Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Technician to join their team.

Position Overview:

As a Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Technician you will be responsible for independently carrying out cleaning tasks at various locations. You will be provided with a company van, uniform, and all necessary equipment. A daily schedule will be sent via Google Calendar, making it easy to manage time and responsibilities. The role is physically demanding, so a good level of fitness is required.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of €30,420 to €40,560 per year, with a weekly pay frequency. As well as a 5-day working week, with occasional flexibility required for additional work or schedule adjustments.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Full, clean driver’s license.
• Garda vetting required due to the nature of the work.
• Previous experience in a role that required time management, customer interaction, and responsibility (e.g., delivery driver).
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
• A mature, responsible, and trustworthy individual with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning tasks at various customer locations.
• Maintain a professional demeanour and provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and handling payments responsibly.
• Manage daily schedules effectively, considering factors like location, parking, and travel time.
• Take care of the company van, uniform, and equipment provided.
• Occasionally collaborate with other technicians for larger jobs.
• Stay proactive in preparing for the next day’s tasks and communicating any issues that arise.
