My client, modern, a well-established and reputable automotive service provider, is seeking an Apprentice Mechanic to join their team based in Dublin 22

Position Overview:

As the Apprentice Mechanic, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, working closely with experienced technicians to enhance their skills. Key responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all repairs meet high industry standards

This position offers an excellent opportunity to further develop technical expertise while working in a supportive team environment, with a competitive salary up to €52,000 per year.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Must be an Apprentice Mechanic.
• Previous experience working in a busy garage or dealership is an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions from senior technicians.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop skills further.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing under the guidance of senior mechanics.
• Work on brakes, clutches, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on various makes and models.
• Follow health and safety guidelines in the workshop.
• Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
